What’s healthy and what’s simply marketing?
Can eating a specific brand of yogurt solve your digestive problems? The labels on the food found in your supermarket, would have you thinking so.
But companies don’t actually claim that their products will solve your health concerns and surprisingly their products may not be any healthier than their normal products. However, these healthy labels certainly grab your attention.
And this...

Chris Waddell
In 2009, he shocked even the most expert climbers as he became the first paraplegic to climb Mount Kilimanjaro using only upper-body strength to summit the 19,340 foot mountain.
Today, his non-profit organization, One Revolution, and new program “Nametags”, aims to encourage others to break boundaries despite what holds them back. What a great concept.

Plastic Paradise Island in the Pacific
This may become a reality, as Dutch engineer Ramon Knoester, envisions collecting and using the millions of pounds of plastic floating in the Pacific Ocean to create a large island about the size of Hawaii. This “recycled island” will be completely green, running on solar and wind energy.
However, what about the problem of chemicals in the plastic that leech into the ocean as they break down...

LIVE THE FLOW...
Flow is when you are doing something that feels so right. It’s when time stands still and you lose yourself in the moment. Flow is heightened when your purpose is attached to a cause. This is when you are closest with your Creator. This is how God created us- that is to affect the world for the better. This is what you were born to do. It’s your calling. Step into the Flow.
Until...

Breathe clean fresh air
What’s up everyone… I know it’s been a while. I’ve been crazy busy. Big things are happening. I just wanted to expand briefly on how important clean fresh air is. Check it out:
Oxygen is the body’s primary nutrient. It’s the source and breathe in life of which every cell of the body depends upon for fuel. It supplies ninety-six percent of the nutritional needs for the...

FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #8: Get sensible sun exposure. The sun facilitates the body in the production of Vitamin D. This is essential for good health.
FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #7: Breathe clean fresh air regularly. In western culture this means getting a top quality air filter. Get outside as much as you can. Keep the windows in your home open as much as possible.
FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #6: Drink plenty of PURE water. Tap water is often full of chlorine and fluoride, which are both very harmful to the body.
FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #5: Get Moving! We are designed to move and movement should be a part of our daily lifestyle. Keep it functional.

FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #4: Pursue your purpose. Where your passion meets a need is where your purpose lies.
FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #3: Live your passion! This is where time stands still and your in the FLOW. The key is to stack as many of these ‘now’ moments throughout your day. This is when you go from living to thriving.
FUEL FOR LIFE LAW #2: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Yo! Keep the stress low.
FUEL FOR LIFE LAW # 1: Eat everything in its most natural state. God got it right the first time! Beware if it comes in a box, can, or jar.
the motives of the heart
Our motives direct our decisions. Discover people’s motives, and you will know what influences their decisions.
Most of us take the path of least resistance because it’s familiar, less risky, and easier. If you ask people why they believe something, they will probably tell you it’s because Johnny told them so. Who’s Johnny, anyway? If you believe something, you should at least have a solid...
The sheep syndrome paradox
It isn’t safe to assume that something is right because everyone is doing it. People by nature do not like to feel uncomfortable by being different, so they follow the crowd’s beliefs and actions. The problem lies in the fact that the people we are following may be wrong. Essentially what we have is followers following followers resulting in very few people actually thinking on their own. If we do...
the paradox
What if what we believe turns out not to be true?
The prosperity paradox
Prosperity is not always synonymous with living healthy. It’s quite the opposite actually. When America established a military base after the war in Okinawa, the Okinawans had peace, jobs, and prosperity. A shift in lifestyle brought upon westernized eating habits with fast food restaurants along with a decline in...

THE AGENDA
When you understand the system your not mislead by the system. When you understand the motives of people, whether they may be individuals or organizations, your much less likely to be deceived or manipulated by them. Where am I going with this? Trust me. Keep reading…
I see it time and time again… that is, people constantly being misled and misguided into believing what they see and...
Suffer Well! There's purpose to your pain.
Life can get down right ugly at times. We all have adversity that we have to overcome and obstacles that we need to learn from. It’s not a matter of if we encounter difficult moments, it’s a matter of when. Life can throw many curve balls. Some we can expect and anticipate while others come from nowhere. Life is seasonal… very much like the business cycle. You have highs and...

its friday and what are you doing?
Some, maybe even most, are planning to make a mess of themselves over the weekend… late nights, lots of drinking, and who knows what else. Many of us have been there before. How empty of a life that can be.
When I studied people who were living the longest and strongest in the world, no matter where they lived, there were common characteristics among them all. Lots of alcohol, drugs, and...
good morning...
It’s just about 9:30 and I feel great! Woke up this morning at 4:30 and was… Wait, time out! Where was I? I totally got side tracked by the guy on the computer next to me. I’m actually at the library about to work on making some last minute tweaks to the Fuel for Life book, but before I got started I wanted to drop a blog message. Anyway, as I was thinking of what I was going to...
7 days into it...
It’s been a full week of applying the FUEL FOR LIFE DIET and F.L.O.W. I almost feel like a novice working out for the first time. I’ve never really experienced that before. I’ve always been in peak condition since I can remember. This winter was a difficult one to say the least. Lots of stress, a consistently packed schedule, and climbing those mountains toward the BIG dream all...
The New Beginning
This weekend was a time of preperation. I’ve been planning this for a few weeks and the time has finally come. Food shopping was number one on my to do list. But before I went shopping I made sure that I put my list together so there was no room for error. I know myself, if I don’t write it down, I will most likely forget. This weekend was a time for me to clear the clutter, that is...
Clear the Clutter
I found myself at the end of 09’ starting eliminate a lot of stuff. We work so hard to buy a bunch of stuff. We collect it over the years and the stuff really begins to pile up. Some people even will get a storage unit to hold their stuff. So now your paying more money to house your stuff that you already bought. It sounds kind of crazy.
I was able to get rid of a lot of my stuff that I...

the new year
Who wants to live to their peak potential? You can’t adopt a new lifestyle until you adopt a new belief system. If the ‘why’ is strong enough the ‘how’ will take care of itself.
Do you realize how important maintaining the right nutrition and exercise is for your body? Who wants to be inspired, motivated, and educated not just for a new year’s...
